Runny nose: Use a bulb syringe to suck out the mucus after you have used saline nose drops . Keep the vaporizer on. Elevate his mattress when he sleeps. Push fluids but go easy on the milk since it produces mucus.Use the saline nose drops at least four times a day.

Supportive care: Use saline nasal spray liberally. For the cough give 1 - 2 teaspoons of honey in chamomile tea.
