A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not heart attack: Depression has been known to cause some problems with the productions of certain hormones even from the master gland especially the production of cortisol. I has not been proven to cause hypothyroidism but rather hypothyroidism can cause depression symptoms and slowing down. Lack of iodine intake can cause hypothyroid condition.
