That med is a med: Normally used to treat herpes family of viruses. There are many of these including the shingles virus.…. Ask your eye md for more information……..

Gancyclovir gel: Is used to treat herpes eye infections. It is typically used 5 times daily during the initial phases of treatment, then reduced to three times daily based on the response. This should all be decided upon by your ophthalmologist.
