Long periods: Periods that last longer than 7 days are often abnormal and you should see a gyn specialist to have lab and ultrasound testing after a careful checkup and exam.

Depends: Usually periods do not last that long. However if that is your usual period you may confer with your OB to rule causes of long periods.
