Torsion stitches: Usually both testicles are sutured to the muscle wall that separates the scrotal sac into a right and left side inside the scrotum. These stitches are often permanent and most often prevent both testicles from twisting again. On the outside skin of the scrotum, absorbable sutures are used. They disintegrate in 10-14 days.
