Most likely : Itching is a common side effect of narcotics and for most people does not go any further than that. It is more serious if there is wheezing associated. As the medication is cleared from your system it will improve but you may need to continue to use inhaler for a little bit. Antihistamines can help also. If your inhaler does not control symptoms you need to be seen. Inform your provider.
