Migraine, not oc.mig: Sounds like a migraine, not an ocular migraine. Regardless, there are other causes of headache that should be considered. Rule of thumb: "when one encounters the 'worst headache ever', consider intracranial hemorrhage." - you need a ct. Hope you feel better!

Migraine: The likely cause is a migraine. However, when people report 'the worst headache ever', we need to take a careful history to ascertain whether you could be at risk for something more serious like a brain aneurysm (especially if it began suddenly). However, the vast majority of people with 'the worst headache ever' DO NOT have aneurysms. Seeing your doctor for a proper assessment would be sensible.
