Few minute up to 20: Sleep paralysis usually occurs in 25 to 50 % of people who have narcolepsy. It can occur at the onset of sleep or upon awakening. The phenomenon lasts from a few minutes, up to 20 minutes.

Sleep paralysis: It really depends. Sometimes one can wake up and it will last a few seconds. Sleep paralysis usually does not last more than a few minutes at most.
