Probably wrong Dx: An abscess is a collection of pus in the tissues. They are normally exquisitely painful and remain so until they drain which means a lot of pus and blood. Can you feel anything there at all? You may instead be having something called proctalgia fugax which is sharp intermittent "random" pains in the rectal area. I would get a second opinion from a doctor what specializes in these diseases.
