Neuralgia: Sounds like neuralgia or pain related to a nerve you could see a hand surgeon to help decide what treatment or physical therapy could help.

Hypersensitivity: I don't know your history, and predisposing factors such as previous injuries, etc.. This could be due to mainly a form of median nerve syndrome such as carpal tunnel which is common in pregnancy, or other worse nerve damage such as in diabetes but not necessarily so. Go see your md, if needed, referred to neuro for proper evaluation.

How long?: Need more information. Does this wake you up wallior sleeping. Does your anger number. Is this a hand you overuse. How long has this been going on. Weakness. Drop things? Carpel tunnel high on list.
