Can i take strepsils lozenges with my citalopram, as i have a sore throat? the box of strepsils says they have dichlorobenzyl alcohol, amylmetacresol.

Drug interactions: There should not be a problem with these lozenges and citalopram, but the best way in which to check this and be reasonably sure is to ask your pharmacist to run this interaction through their computer. Even if these products interact it is unlikely that the amount taken in a lozenge will be significant.
