Possibly: Depending on when you get the injection, it may indued a period. Then there will be no hormones for the remainder of the time your body is under the influence of this medication. The goal of the medicine is to reduce estrogen (eg, for endometriosis) or reduce blood flow or shrink fibroids before surgery, but the more usual dose is over a few months, not just 1 month.
