Can ct and pet scan performed 2 weeks after skin and nipple sparing mastectomy with inplant also include chemotherapy ?

PET scan...: Pet / ct scan can be performed at any time but it is extremely important for the physician interpreting the scan to know if you are having or have had chemotherapy or radiation therapy and exactly when. Also, it is important to know exactly when surgery was performed since recent surgery can cause false positive FDG uptake. Usually it is good to wait at least 4 weeks after chemotherapy.
