I have an itch underneath my skin in my abdominal area. it happens occasionally and doesn't seem to be triggered by anything. what could this be from?

Dr. Brian Lee answered

Blood flow: Typically an increase in blood flow to the skin of the trunk, including the abdomen can cause an itchy feeling. Would monitor progression, and if persists, will need to keep a written diary of what you are doing before and during the symptoms start.
