A member asked:

Is there anyway to tell if you have a cancerous lump besides going to the doctor?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: In fact, the diagnosis is never made without input from a specialist doctor's doctor, a pathologist. You can never be sure that a lesion is malignant just on physical exam. If someone has told you that you have cancer but has not submitted tissue to a proper laboratory, you need to call your local prosecutor -- you're probably the victim of a vicious scam.
