Dental appt: Hard calculus (tartar) cannot be effectively removed at home. It's been a long time since your last dental cleaning, or you haven't been diligent in brushing and flossing. Both of these will result in calculus buildup. The sooner you go the sooner your breath will smell better and the less chance you will loose your teeth to periodontitis.
