How long does it take to recover from having your wisdom teeth pulled?

Depends: Most people recover in two to three days providing all went well. If you develop infection or dry socket it can be longer or if you have underlying problems. I have had great results in speeding recovery by taking homeopathic arnica and hypericum. Those two remedies help reduce swelling and discomfort!

Depends: Sedation likely? Depends on location and degree of impaction and accesability. You could likely plan on about 2 hours from start to finish if sedation, but the actual time to get them all out could range from 20min to 1.5 hrs. Ask your provider.

Depends: If your dentist has recommended this because of a current problem, then do so quickly. If recommened as part of a good preventative strategy, then you may plan for a convenient time..For example, if you're a student, you may want to wait for a school break to allow yourself time to heal after the extraction procedure.
