I'm wondering how long does it take to have a root canal done on an upper left tooth?

Depends: Depending on the complexity and number of canals, it can range from 30 minutes for one canal to 60 minutes for 4 canals. Retreatment usually takes longer. Talk to your dentist during your consultation.

Root canal: The time it takes to do a root canal depends on the tooth itself. This includes the curve of the root, the member or canals, the size and shape of the canals. The results are dependent on the cleaning and shaping of the canals not on the speed of the dentist. Root canals, especially the molars can take quite some time.
