Hsv1: It is most often soreson the border of the lip where it meets the skin around the mouth, especialy between the upper lip and the nose. It is a cluster of little vesicles that eventualy break open and weep, forming a yellowish crust. Many patients say their lip tingles prior to an outbreak. In some patients they can be painful, but asymptomatic in others. See your physician and get treated.
