Wisdom: I remove all of mine under local only so pts can take care of themselves+have less PO issues. Ice with ice cubes on and off every 20 min the day of and 3 days after, sleep at 45 deg day of and 3 days after. I strt pts on amox 500mg 42 tabs 2 days before+pts take 1000mg 1hr before surg, Decadron (dexamethasone) 5day pk.75mg startng day after surg.Pts who do this do not swell. Talk to your surgeon.
