Minor social anxiety: Most people have at least "minor social anxiety, " meaning we get a little anxious when meeting new people. We want to fit in and be liked. In terms of interference with our lives though, the intensity and extent matter a lot. If you're able to proceed socially despite your anxieties, they aren't inhibiting your life much. In such cases, practice and sharing authentically with others will help.
