Yes: Braces are often used to re-upright tilted teeth, re-orient rotated teeth, correct extrusion etc, when spaces are present. It helps to allow for more ideal placement of dental implants or other restorative options (bridges etc). Having an ideal or close to ideal occlusion is the best thing you can have to prevent future dental or periodontal problems. Hope this helps.
