Could dentists make teeth more crooked?

Sure, but why?: Dentists who are trained to move teeth through orthodontic means can make teeth straighter and using the same concept, could conceivably make the crooked. The question is why would anyone want less than a perfect teeth alignment, as they are designed to function more ideally that way?

Make teeth crooked: No Dentist would deliberately make your body less healthy. It is possible that you have had changes that have become more noticeable with time because of an untreated malocclusion, and coincidentally there was some shifting. Please see a specialist Orthodontist for an Initial Exam (usually free) and a discussion of your occlusion and, if necessary, appropriate treatment options.
