What is it like to have a cavity rot your tooth all the way out?

Well, it depends: It depends on a number of things, including if you get an infection or if the cavity breaks into a live nerve inside your tooth. Most patients find the pain unbearable after a short time, to the point that no amount of medication will make do. An infection can cause the same symptoms, only you'll get a whole lot of swelling, too. If you get to that point, you'll wish you took care of it sooner.
