A member asked:

I am having sex with someone with aids and that person with the aids is on antiretroviral medicine, what to do?

Safe sex: You can reduce your risk of acquiring HIV by always having safe sex (always using condoms and a spermicidal lubricant). Visit with a physician or health care provider at a clinic. In some instances a person without HIV may be prescribed prophylactic HIV medicines to reduce his/her risk of being infected by a partner with hiv. Hope that this helps.
