A member asked:

How do i know if i have an infection in my knee?

Dr. Guy Fogel answered

Warm red swollen: If your knee hurts and is warm to touch or swollen or reddened and if it is stiff to motion then it may be infected. Blood tests and an aspiration of the knee would help pain relief and could give answers to the infection question.
