Fluid, fiber,etc: Fluid intake, fruits, veggies, whole grains, flax seed (not the oil), beans and legumes, oils, activity all help to move things through. Non prescription rx can include sugarless gum (sorbitol- can cause gas), stool softeners, magnesium (careful if any kidney problems), mineral oil, polyethylene glycol (miralax)if not promptly relieved, recurrent, associated with other symptoms, etc, see md.

Prunes: Prunes or prune juice. High fiber foods usually help as well.
