A member asked:

I got diagnosed with "sick euthyroid" by an endocrinologist. when can i expect my levels to normalize? what can i do to treat it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sick euthyroid: The only way "sick euthyroid" gets better is by correcting the underlying illness that is making you "sick". Then the TSH elevates temporarily and the process reverses itself.
