Tendinitis: Ice or heat - depending on the time frame early or late. Ice is generally recommended early on for acute injuries - days to 1 week heat - later injuries. Icy hot, tiger balm, bengay - etc all contain menthol. Topical numbing agent. Can help esp when trying to deep tissue massage the area. Light weight shoulder exercises are also beneficial to encourage range of motion (rom).
