Advil (ibuprofen) for LBP: If advil works then take it. Stop if you are getting any kind of gastric disturbances and make sure you do not exceed the maximum daily recommended dose. Consult your doctor for alternatives such as tylenol, (acetaminophen) and physical therapy treatments, and don't forget safer complementary interventions like yoga, meditation, biofeedback. In time most low back symptoms resolve on their own.
