MAYBE: There can be. People on stimulants may . M etabolize ' at different speeds. Sometimes the tapering off will be gradual and realitvely slow, sometime sudden and crash - some are between. Sometimes a small dose before the crash makes things smooth. One has to work out the timing.

It's possible: Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) is 'time released' but at times it too causes a 'crash' feeling when it wears off - or so my patients tell me. A sort of dissipation in energydrive and sometimes mood. In my opinion all stimulants can do this; it is less likely in time released types.
