STDS ; HIV: First there are twelve stds and it is important that you know them and how they are prevented. One cannot get an infectious disease if there is no disease to transmit. Hiv included. Hiv does not just arise out of thin air. But, if you have unprotected sexual contact then you should be on a testing schedule to make sure you are not infected with the common stds that you are at risk for.
