What happens when a 7 years old kid have his white blood cells are high?

WBC: Wbc counts typically increase in response to infection. It doesn't necessarily tell us what the exact infection is. It could be viral, bacterial, etc.. But together with a thorough history and physical exam, it could help us make a diagnosis so we can prescribe the proper treatment.
