How long will i be out of work for a total hip replacement?

6 to 8 weeks: You are normally only in the hospital for a few days but once you go home or start rehabilitation with physical therapy you will not be allowed to drive for 6 weeks. As long as there are no complications you should expect to be back to work by 8 weeks.
