Low vitamin D: A vitamin d level of 8 is very low. You need to take vitamin d. Take 5000iu of vitamin d3 daily. Low d causes osteoporosis and that is why your foot hurts.

See your fam. doc: Suggest evaluation with your family doctor and or a rheumatologist to rule out a systemic cause for your symptoms.

You should see : A foot doc. There are so many reasons why a foot can hurt. Abnormal blood levels can sometimes help aid in a diagnosis but a proper physical exam would be in order.
