Not really: If that were true, there would be no need for all of the whitening products on the drugstore shelves or the professional products available from your dentist. Everyone would just be rubbing banana peels on their teeth and have snow white smiles. You will need to use products designed to whiten teeth, after calculus and stains are removed.
