Possibly: Herpes is also present in the mouth so transmission can occur with oral sex as well. It's best to practice good barrier protection during any sex.

No: If you both have genital herpes, it's probably from hsv-2, whereas oral herpes is usually caused by hsv-1, which most people already have as well. Since you're both infected, there's no reason to worry about catching theses viruses again.
