Yes: Chemical burn. Also can be neurotoxic.

Dose dependent: Chemicals all have a dose dependent affect on the body. Small amounts are harmless, but if a high dose in the form of consistency and potency may have known and even unknown harmful effects. The other variable is that different people will have different reactions to levels of ammonia due to the variability in respective biology.
