Swollen glands: She either has a scarred duct of her salivary gland or she has stones in the gland. A thorough exam of the floor of the mouth will help determine what the problem is. A ct scan can help determine if there is a stone in the duct or determine if the duct is dilated. Sometimes you can not feel small stones but will see them on imaging studies. A simple sub mental vertex x-ray could be helpful.
