Talk with your MD: Latuda (lurasidone) like any antipsychotic can produce the side effect of akathisia and you may need to transition to another medication. I would talk with the prescribing physician to determine if there is going to be a medication that you could change to in order to not experience this side effect any more. There are some medications that can be added to a medicine like Latuda (lurasidone) to help as well. Stay safe!

Tell psychiatrist: who is providing your care. Sometimes medications like Cogentin, Propranolol or benadryl are used if there is akathisia. Changing to another medication is another option. Talk to your doctor so that the two of you can decide together.
