See a psychiatrist: You may have symptoms of it, or just anxiety about this diagnosis (for a reason? Like family history of it?) however it is unlikely that the first symptoms would start at your stated age (mainly for males, in females around 28 it s still common, not sure what s your gender). Anyway, rather than stay terrified, see a psychiatrist. We are generally very nice and understanding, nothing to be scared.

A /w Dr. Satulovsky: Do you have family members or friends with Schizophrenia? Do you have specific symptoms that are driving this fear? Is this an irrational fear or one that is based on risk factors? Agree with Dr. Satulovsky - rather then sitting back in terror -get evaluated. A psychiatric or psychological examination (sometimes with added psychological testing) should be able to address your fears. Don't let
