I don't understand: Babies under 1 year old can certainly get influenza- most will recover fine, after a week or so of feeling lousy. For these younger children, they may become sicker from the flu than older kids. They are more prone to secondary infections (ear infections, pneumonia, etc) and may get more easily dehydrated. All family members and all children over 6 months, should have a flu vaccine once a year!
