Generally no: Localized tenderness that persist beyond a period or two and is associated with some change in breast texture is more worrisome.

Pain not specific: Breast pain is not specific for breast cancer. Many time breast cancer is not painful at all. Breast pain could be indicative of almost anything - abscess, cyst, mastitis, muscle strain... See your doctor to be evaluated properly.
