A member asked:

Can alcoholism have anything to do with allergies?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Alcohol ; Allergies : Alcoholism isn't causally linked to allergies. People who have a long standing and enduring pattern of drink alcohol excessively, despite the negative health, occupational, social, or/and legal consequences are compulsive drinkers and labeled as alcoholics. Some of these people might also have allergies, too, but it didn't cause their problem drinking.
