Will orthotics help straighten my hips?

No: Boney deformities in the hips will not change with orthotics.

Yes: Orthotics help to align the entire extremity not just the foot and ankle.

Could help: You will need a complete evaluation, however if the hip pain is caused by imbalance in the foot or a limb length discrepancy an orthotic with a heel lift could be useful.

Possibly: Orthotics or orthoses help the base or foundation of your body, they could help a hip problem if its foot related.

Biomechanics: Orthotics help with your gait and can take the strain off of the hip but it will not straighten the hip.
