Muscle sore: During wightlifting your muscle made a lot acid material to induce feeling local sore. Post the class a nice, prolonged warm bath or heating pad application over the area you feel sore might be helpful. Because heating might increase local blood circulation, help bringing the acid material out of the area. Another reason for sore is local micro trauma. Pre-class muscle relax and stretch might help.

Muscle soreness.: After training with weights,my our muscles will become sore from the effort. Granted, muscle soreness is not by itself a measure of the effectiveness of your training, but it happens. Part of the "no pain, no gain" mentality that's a bit passé these days. With continued consistent training you may not get as sore.
