Yes: Most children won't take your word for the fact that the oven is hot or that jumping on the sofa can cause them to fall. They learn from experience. Hopefully, they will learn without being injured too seriously. Remind them calmly of consequences- before, and after they experience them! supervision is the most important way to prevent injuries!
