A member asked:

Should i take accutane or proactive? which is better?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends on you: If you've been offered Accutane / isotretinoin, you already have a relationship with a dermatologist who thinks it is appropriate. That means you acne is bad enough that "proactive" (half-strength overpriced benzoyl peroxide) won't clear you. That's the facts. Neither meds are pleasant, but Isotretinoin is rough medicine and will work much better.
