Discuss with surgeon: Ask your surgeon how much tissue was removed. By just - if you mean several days ago - you're going to have to wait a while for the swelling to decrease before seeing the ultimate results. Usually, results are immediately visible.

Asked Surgeon: Discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon who'll be in the best position to advise you. If, in the long term, you feel that your breasts remain too large, additional reduction may be possible. Best wishes.

Reduction or Lift?: A breast reduction by definition implies that at least a pound of breast tissue was removed from each side ;inherently built into the procedure is a breast lift. If you only had a breast lift then essentially the volume of breast that you had may remain the same or just be a little smaller. Breasts which are in the correct position on the chest wall tend to look bigger than the flat droopy breasts.
