Adenoma: Is a bening tumor. If left untreated, can become cancerous (adenocarcinoma).

No: An adrenal adenoma is a benign lesion and are often small (several cms.) the larger the adrenal lesion, the higher the probability of a cancer being present. Some lesions may need to be surgically removed to definitively ascertain that there is no cancer.
